12V 20Ah USB Deep Cycle LiFePO4 Battery

$429.00

Engineered in a 12Ah SLA plastic case, but with with 20Ah of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) technology, this battery has three times the power, half the weight, and 5x the lifespan of a 12Ah sealed lead acid battery.

Description

Built for high performance in cold Dakota winters, this 12 volt, 20 amp hour (Ah) lithium battery packs a big punch in a small package. Engineered in a 12Ah SLA case, but with 20Ah of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, this battery has three times the power, half the weight, and lasts 8 times longer than a 12Ah sealed lead acid battery – providing exceptional performance & lifetime value. Optimal performance down to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit (for winter warriors). 20 Amp hours of capacity provides a full day of power for high amp draw electronics like Garmin fish finders, ice augers, or anything where you need a longer run time. Same performance as our legendary 10 Ah battery, but with 100% more capacity. Drop in replacement for 12Ah SLA batteries (same size, physical dimensions & terminals) but with three times (3X) longer run time. This is version 2.0 of our original 12V 18Ah battery. Same size and price but 2Ah more capacity, lighter weight, and now includes a voltmeter and USBa and USBc charging ports, in addition to standard SLA battery terminals.

Additional information
Warranty

World beating, best in class, eleven year manufacturer defect warranty.

Storage Capacity

60 ampere hours (Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 60 amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Voltage

36V. Can be wired in parallel up to 10 units for more capacity and a longer run time. Not intended for wiring multiple batteries in series, 36V systems only. For 72V batteries systems see our 72V single battery.

Energy

2,304 Watts (Wh)

Terminals

M6 bolt size. Easy to adapt to different connection needs. (Max torque 15 ft. lbs.)

Size

13”L x 6.7”W x 8.7”H (331mm x 172mm x 221mm). Group 31 marine battery. Same case size as a standard 12V 100Ah lead acid or AGM battery.

Weight

44 lbs (20 Kg). That's 75% lighter then a lead acid battery and 25% lighter than Dakota Lithium original 36V 63Ah battery.

Lifecycles (battery lifespan)

Up to 80% capacity for 5,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.

Operating Temp.

Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C) optimal operating temps. Avoid charging below 32'F.

Discharge

60 A max continuous, 180 A max pulse 30 second pulse.

Charge

30A max, 42V max recommended. Please note: this battery should be charged between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C) and with a LiFePO4 compatible charger.

Includes active BMS protection

Contains a circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.

Certifications

All batteries are UN 38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, train, & marine transport.

ISO 9001:2015 Certified

Dakota Lithium is ISO Certified per 9001:2015 standards, and select models are produced in ISO 14001 certified facilities.
